Uniqueness of the OTP of Mapping Metrics
Many individuals participating in an open talent program work with multiple organizations. Your ability to engage with opportunities outside of our Open Talent program will depend on the specific projects you pursue and the terms outlined in your individual contract.
3
Interview Process
When we find a specific opportunity that matches your skills, you will be informed to apply through the designated job link. If selected, you may have the chance to speak with members of the project team to assess how well your skills and interests align with the role. Interviews are typically conducted via phone or video and scheduled at mutually convenient times.
4
Contracting Process
Once the interview process is complete and you have been matched with a project, you will begin the contracting and onboarding process. This process will be tailored to your individual circumstances and project assignment. You may be required to sign a contract outlining your agreement to the general terms and conditions of working with Mapping Metrics. Additionally, depending on your role, you might need to complete a background verification.
To efficiently manage contractor engagement—including worker classification, onboarding, contracting, and payment—our team will confirm your specific contracting arrangement once your project is assigned.
4
On-boarding Process
Once your contracting process is complete and you're ready to begin your project, you will be granted access to our Onboarding Hub. The Hub contains essential onboarding materials, project overviews, and tools designed to help you start your first assignment smoothly. You are free to explore the Hub at your own pace. In addition to the Hub, you may also receive project-specific onboarding or orientation when you begin work on individual assignments.
6
Compensation Details
The pay rates will vary depending on the allocated project budget and prevailing market rates for the required skills. Compensation is typically structured as either a fixed fee or based on time and materials. All payment terms will be communicated in advance and agreed upon mutually.
7
Other Benefits
Additional benefits such as holiday pay, maternity or paternity leave, insurance, or weekend pay are not provided. If your assigned project requires business travel, expenses will be covered on a per diem basis. But there may be ad-hoc coupons/gift vouchers through our partners as a surprise to compliment your good work.
8
Electronic device policy
All contractors are required to use their own devices for assigned projects, as no hardware will be provided. Necessary project software will be supplied as needed. In cases where a project requires high-performance systems, equipment may be provided upon written approval and a security deposit.
9
Work Location
All contractors/professionals are expected to work in accordance with project requirements. Work arrangements—whether remote, hybrid, or on-site—can be chosen based on your convenience and feasibility. Once confirmed, there will be no changes.
